This poster is of The Narrator. A5 prints make for really good individual student booklets, while producing A4 versions is ideal for general class use. This is from a series of posters I made for revision of the characters in Animal Farm. They each display quotes and comments that would be useful to revise for the GCSE English Literature exam. This poster is of Napoleon. As a reminder of the real-life person this character represents, Josef Stalin features in the background. There are similar reminders of Orwell’s allegory in all of the posters in this particular series. A5 prints make for really good individual student booklets, while producing A4 versions is ideal for general class use. If you’re wanting to display them, they look really good in A3. As well as display, they can be given as a task for students to build on the quotes, linking each one to specific themes in the novel and/or explaining why the trait of the character is significant. Another common use is to inspire students to make their own for other characters. Other characters coming very soon are Mr Jones, Boxer, Snowball, Mollie, Squealer, Benjamin, Moses, and Old Major. This resource is a series of cartoon posters showing AQA GCSE 9-1 English Language Assessment Objectives. It comprises a Powerpoint featuring 18 posters - nine of these have the AOs in basic form, for ease of understanding; the remaining nine posters feature the AOs in their original form. Downloading the Powerpoint means you will have the opportunity to print as many of these out as you wish, at whichever size you wish - depending on the limitations of your printer. The font I originally used, and which is featured on one of the photos, is Marker Felt. You may need to download this free from the internet if you want the posters to look identical to mine. I recommend laminating them for long term use, and they look particularly effective when cut out.

Fourth lesson (no Ppt this time - apostrophe starter used a copyrighted Ppt, so can't include...sorry). Will include more lessons once I've planned them!
